HySleeve Care & Maintenance Guide
The HySleeve handles are a precision 3D-printed accessory. To ensure its longevity and structural integrity, please follow these maintenance guidelines.
The Short Version:
- Not Dishwasher Safe. The heat will permanently warp/deform the product.
- Hand Wash & Towel Only. Cold or room-temp water and mild dish soap works best.
- Avoid Extreme Heat. Do not leave it in a hot car during the summer!
Cleaning Instructions:
Because of the texture created during the 3D printing process, the HySleeve requires gentle cleaning.
- Wash thoroughly by hand using cold or room-temperature water.
- Use a soft sponge and mild soap. Avoid abrasive scrubbers, which can scratch or degrade the surface finish.
- Towel dry immediately. Letting water sit can cause mineral buildup over time.
Temperature & Environment:
Thermoplastics are engineered to be tough, but they are not immune to extreme environments.
- Keep away from high heat. Exposure to temperatures above 130°F (54°C)—such as sitting on a dashboard in direct summer sunlight or being placed too close to a campfire—will cause the material to soften and permanently deform.
Installation & Handling
The HySleeve is designed with an exact friction-fit tolerance.
- Slide it onto your bottle firmly but evenly. Do not use excessive force, tools, or leverage to pry it on or off, as this can stress the internal structure. Additionally, you can follow our installation & removal guide on the product's pages.
